Anna Barth
Registered Psychotherapist, RP, MA
I am Anna Barth, a Registered Psychotherapist and Neurolinguistic Programming coach. My professional journey began with a fascination for understanding the power of internal conversations and the profound impact of trauma on the mind and body. I became inspired and trained by books, scholars, philosophies, and my personal travels in diverse cultures. In the last eighteen years, I have kept journeying with clients in their internal cultures on their personalized paths to healing. In creating one's therapeutic support, I integrate approaches like somatic therapies, mindfulness, neuroscience, and evidence-based practices.
"What stands in the way becomes the way."
– Marcus Aurelius (Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor)
This quote encapsulates my therapeutic philosophy, emphasizing resilience, mindfulness, and the transformative power of self-awareness and intentional growth.
I often see the similarities between psychotherapy and gardening. Like tending to a garden, therapy involves nurturing the soil—reconnecting you with your internal resources and authentic Self—so your growth feels natural and sustainable. Sometimes, we also need to prune, as some coping techniques that once protected you no longer serve you, or we dig deep to find the roots where your distress stems from.
Together, we will uncover your strengths and cultivate strategies that align with your needs and values.
Imagine how your life could be different without fear, distress, or a depressed mood and how you could use that energy to be content! This process requires courage and self-awareness, resulting in a richer, more empowered version of yourself.
I invite you to take the first step in this journey. Let's work together to rediscover your inner resilience and regain agency in a future filled with adaptability and self-compassion.

My primary being as a psychotherapist is to focus on exploring what is meaningful for the clients in their lives and how life diverged from it, causing frustration, anxiety, or other forms of emotional discomfort. While supporting them in navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and self-worth, I focus on empowering them to reconnect with their strengths, rediscover their authentic selves, and build meaningful lives.
As a Registered Psychotherapist with over eighteen years of wandering among the clients' and own life obstacles, I bring a unique blend of therapeutic approaches and the grounding effect that witnessing growth and surpassing life crises can bring into someone's life.
I have had the privilege of working in Europe and Canada in various settings, from nonprofit organizations and private practice to education. My experience includes supporting adult and young adult clients through individual therapy and co-facilitating groups, particularly those addressing trauma, domestic violence, and acculturation.
Having personally navigated the complexities of immigration and adaptation, I deeply connect with clients facing cultural transitions and identity challenges. This perspective enriches my ability to provide empathetic and effective support.
Beyond therapy, I contribute to the field through psychoeducational workshops, training, and presentations on mental health topics, reflecting my dedication to professional growth and community advocacy.
I invite you to take the first step toward transformation. Together, we can create a path toward resilience, clarity, and fulfillment.
